Head into the busy holiday season with a little creativity and mindfulness that comes with watercolor painting. Mary Jo Bradley, accomplished artist and arts educator, will be in the studio with us on Friday, November 8 to share some of her tips and tricks for creating lovely winter scenes using a variety of watercolor techniques to create a set of holiday cards that will be ready to send off to family and friends. 

There are two separate 2 hr class sessions that are designed for those with an interest in artistic expression or those looking to rekindle their love for painting. You can sign up for just one class or both! Each class session comes with a set of 5 blank watercolor cards and envelopes, sketchbooks, practice papers, brushes and paints that you can use. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies if you have a preferred paints, brushes or inspirational reference materials.

Afternoon Session 1: 12:30pm – 2:30pm

Costs:

Registration Fee: $45- non-members / $40- members

Materials: $10 per person paid to instructor at time of workshop

Total: $55- /$50-

No prior experience in watercolor painting is required. 

This course is open to young adults (ages 14+) and adults who are interested in exploring and creating their own personal creations!

It will be a fun and supportive environment with guidance and encouragement to enhance your skills and create stunning mini works of art worthy of any holiday mantle!

Mary Jo Bradley is a seasoned artist and arts educator with over 20 years of experience as a high school art teacher. With a master’s degree in arts education and NY state K-12 art certification, Mary Jo has exhibited her own work in both New York and California and has a passion for teaching and inspiring creativity in others.
