Night Sky - Natural Dyed Silk Scarf Oct 19
In this two hour workshop we’ll make a witch’s brew of local seasonal plants and use a little chemistry magic to make a deep, natural black with swirling night sky patterns!
Participants will learn how to prepare fabric for natural dyeing and how to collect and use local plants to make rich, deep blacks and moody neutrals.
We’ll dye a 20” x 70” cozy bamboo silk scarf with all materials provided and no experience necessary. This is a great technique for upcycling clothing and household items like tea towels and provides a great foundation for further natural dyeing.

Main Street Studio
786 Charlton Road, Charlton 12019
