Hand Mending Workshop - March 30

Don't toss those favorite jeans or that extra comfy flannel shirt with the hole in the elbow... bring them into the Studio and get tips and tricks for patching them right up! 

Renee Johnson will lead this informal and creative session focused on techniques for creating lasting repairs on clothing and fabrics. Bring in one or a few items that need mending and take advantage of focused time in the Studio to get it done!

Fabric scraps and threads will be available for use as patching materials, along with many other materials and tools commonly used for mending. You are also welcome to bring in threads and fabrics that inspire you or you that have been saving up!

Time: 1pm – 3pm

Workshop Cost: $30 non-members, $27 members (use discount code at checkout)

Materials Fee: $5.00 , paid to Renee Johnson at time of workshop (cash, Venmo)

Total Cost: $35 / $32 

Note, this class will focus primarily on woven (non knit) fabrics but feel free to bring in knitted garments as some can be repaired with other methods than darning. For example, Renee will not be teaching knitting techniques, but there might be some tricks to help tie up a small hole in your favorite fluffy sweater.
