Soy Candles and Scent Secrets Sept 27

Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn the art of crafting beautiful soy candles, and the secrets of scent and wick selection from one of our local master makers, Leah LaFera of Sweet Sprig in Schenectady, NY. 

Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of making, sharing and learning with each other! Snacks and beverages are welcome. 

Throughout this 2-hour session, Leah will share tips on working with fragrances and will have plenty of natural materials that you can choose from to create a gorgeous candle you can gift or keep for yourself.

We are excited to have Leah in the Studio with us and are looking forward to a relaxing evening!

About Leah
Leah LaFera has been crafting natural and luxurious skincare products through Sweet Sprig since 1997. With a Bachelor's degree in Art, she blends her passion for creation with environmental consciousness to design, create, and test every product. All of her creations use plant-based ingredients, are cruelty-free, and aim to minimize waste. Her heart and soul goes into each design, creating long-lasting scents and unique botanical combinations that nourish both the body and soul. Leah’s Sweet Sprig products can be found in many local farmer’s markets and in her studio space in the Brouwer House Creative in Schenectady’s historical Stockade neighborhood.
