Grail #4

A decorative cup made from figured red oak, sourced from tree work in Vorheesville, NY. Dyed and burned, with pigmented wax. Finished with shellac.

This cup was turned slightly off-center to give the bowl of the cup a little bit of tilt. One of a kind.

Care instructions: Wash with soap and water and dry completely. Do not allow to sit in standing water. Do not place this or any wooden product in the dishwasher. Shellac finish is damaged by contact with alcohol.
